Win Stadium - Northern Grandstand

KJ Industrial Scaffolding delivered a large-scale, engineered access solution to support critical rust remediation and structural repair works at WIN Stadium, one of the Illawarra’s most prominent public venues.

Constructed during the 2024–25 Christmas shutdown period, the project required meticulous planning and precise execution to ensure all scaffolding was safely installed and operational within a tightly constrained timeframe. With the stadium required to return to service immediately following the shutdown, careful coordination was essential to meet program requirements without compromise to safety or quality.

Working around grandstands, seating structures, and high-risk elevated areas, KJ engineered tailored access systems that enabled contractors to safely reach corroded steel components for remediation and repair. Each scaffold solution was designed to suit the existing structure, minimise load impacts, and allow efficient access while protecting surrounding assets.

Given the public nature of the venue, a strong emphasis was placed on segregation and compliance. The scaffold design maintained strict separation between work zones and public areas, incorporating controlled access points, and compliant edge protection to ensure venue safety at all times. Regular inspections and close collaboration with project stakeholders ensured ongoing compliance throughout the works.
