Earn While You Learn
Trainees are employed full-time while completing a nationally recognised qualification in scaffolding. This ensures you gain practical site experience from day one, whilst also obataining stability with full-time work.
Nationally Recognised Training
Delivered in partnership with Zeal Futures and TAFE NSW, our trainees receive structured training that covers Certificate III in Scaffolding, Basic & Intermediate Scaffolding tickets, Working at Heights Ticket, Confined Space Entry Ticket. First Aid & CPR training as well as multiple VOC & WHS inductions.
Hands-On Site Experience
Our Trainees will work alongside experienced scaffolders, supervisors, and yard teams, learning how to safely erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems in high-risk environments.
Purpose-Built Training Facility
KJ operates an internal training area designed specifically for new recruits. This allows trainees to practice skills in a controlled environment before entering live worksites. At K.J. Industrial Scaffolding, we believe that skill, safety, and confidence start with quality training. That is why we have invested in our own in-house training facility – a controlled, purpose-built environment where our team can develop, refine and maintain industry-leading scaffolding skills.

For over 20 years, KJ Industrial Scaffolding has been committed to raising the bar for safety and expertise in the sector. With a strong focus on local involvement, hands-on learning, and real industry experience, our program provides a structured pathway for young people and career-changers to enter the scaffolding industry and grow into confident, highly skilled professionals.
We are proud to have supported 100+ trainees since the early 2000s—many of whom have progressed to become qualified scaffolders, supervisors, leading hands, inspectors, and leaders within KJ.
By bridging the gap between classroom knowledge and live-site execution, we continue to empower the local workforce and build the next generation of industrial leaders.
